Remediation

Phase II Site Assessment

A Phase II environmental assessment is an investigation of a property or site to determine the presence of contamination and evaluate potential risks to human health and the environment. Phase II investigations can include soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and/or groundwater sampling.

Hydrogeology & Groundwater Assessment

Hydrogeology is the study of the movement and storage of groundwater in the subsurface. Groundwater assessment involves the investigation and evaluation of the quantity, quality, and sustainability of groundwater resources.

Soil & Sediment Analysis

Environmental long-term remediation is the process of implementing sustainable strategies and actions to address and mitigate the long-lasting effects of pollution, contamination, or other environmental hazards, with the goal of restoring, protecting, and sustaining the health and integrity of ecosystems and human communities.

Soil Vapor Migration Pathway Evaluation

Soil vapor remediation is a technique that involves the extraction and treatment of contaminated vapors from the subsurface to mitigate soil and groundwater contamination, prevent vapor intrusion into buildings, and protect air quality and human health.

Risk Assessment

Risk assessment requires evaluation of contaminant exposure from soil, groundwater, and vapor to  assess potential risks to human health and the environment.  This assessment guides decisions on mitigation measures, remediation strategies, and regulatory actions.

Remedial Action Plan & Implementation

A Remedial Action Plan (RAP) is a comprehensive strategy developed to address and mitigate the impacts of environmental contamination on human health and the environment. The RAP details the rationale of selected remedial alternatives from available options. Remediation is “clean up” if impacted impact medial (e.g., soil, vapor and groundwater) to specified regulatory goals.

Long-term Monitoring

Environmental long-term remediation is the process of implementing sustainable strategies and actions to address and mitigate the long-lasting effects of pollution, contamination, or other environmental hazards, with the goal of restoring, protecting, and sustaining the health and integrity of ecosystems and human communities.
